Feijoas are also known as “pineapple guava” and are original of South American origin. They have a very unique taste and are packed with Vitamin C. They are also a source of Vitamin E, Vitamin K and calcium, magnesium, copper, and manganese. Feijoa is a very common tree also grown in New Zealand and loved by almost everyone. Very unique taste and can be quite citrus at times and sweet at others. Feijoa pop out of the tree branches when they are ripe and fall on the ground.
