Description
Currants are made by drying small grapes – usually varieties called “black corinth” and “carina”. They are a good source of fiber and potassium and also contain Vitamin C. Their taste can sometimes be a bit more tangy than raisins. Greek Corinth grapes that are sun-dried cleaned and lightly oil, resulting very small berries that are black in colour and practically seedless.
