Is it healthy to have Muesli for breakfast?
Muesli and granola contain fibre from the grains, fruits and nuts. In addition, the dried fruits also provide antioxidants, and the nuts offer healthy fats. Topping muesli or granola with low-fat milk, soy milk or yogurt makes for a nutritionally balanced and filling breakfast.
 
How fresh is it?
All our bases and premixes are made by hand in our kitchen, where the emphasis is on producing exceptional quality muesli. We maintain a small batch process and give extra special care to every batch we bake to bring you genuine just-baked freshness (no preservatives here!) and consistent homemade quality.
 
How many ingredients can I add to my mix?
After selecting a base, you may add up to 16 ingredients from our dried fruits, nuts and seeds or little extras selection. On average, most of our clients add between 4 and 6 ingredients to their base.
 
I am allergic to nuts, can I order a mix?
If you create a mix without nuts you could theoretically eat it but as we have nuts and seeds stored and handle them in our kitchen we can't guarantee that our muesli products are suitable for anyone with nut or seed allergies as the mixes may contain traces of nuts and seeds.
 
Can I create a gluten-free mix?
Our Crispy Mix Base is made with no gluten-containing ingredients, and all the nuts, seeds and dried fruits are naturally gluten free. However you must be aware that we store and handle other products with gluten and wheat in our kitchen so your mix may contain some low traces of gluten.
 
I am watching my sugar intake, how can I avoid sugar in my mix?
When you start mixing, select the sugar free option on the bottom of the left column then only the items with no added sugar will be displayed.
 
Are your muesli products organic?
No. At present our ingredients are not all organic. In the future we are planning to source an organic base aswell as some organic dried fruits, nuts and seeds. These ingreditents will be added to our website soon.
 
I would like to suggest a new ingredient, is that possible?
Yes, just e-mail us your suggestion at contact@muesliandco.co.nz and if possible we will to add it to our list.

Storage

 
What is the best way to store my Muesli?
Keep your mix in a cool dry place to help retain its freshness. You can also store it in an air-tight container if you want to keep your muesli crunchy for longer!
 
How long can I keep my Muesli stored?
There is a best before date on your packaging. If stored correctly in a cool and dry place the mix will last for at least 3 months.

Can I re-order a mix?
Yes, it is easily done without the process of selecting the ingredients again. Enter the MixID that you find at the back of your muesli bag into the MixID Search field on the top of the screen, then click Go. It will show all your previously selected ingredients and ask you if you want to add it to your shopping cart.

You can also simply log into your account to check all you previous orders or ordering history, and re-order from there.

 
How can I pay for my Muesli?

You can pay for your order using our Paypal checkout. As the leader in online payments, Paypal delivers one of the most secure payment processes you can find. You can either use money from your Paypal account, or if don't have a PayPal account you can simply user your credit card or debit card.

We do not have access to your credit card information as this is dealt with by Paypal. Your credit card information is not stored by us at any time and there will be no record of it on our system. We have taken every reasonable precaution to ensure that the personal information that you provide to us on this website is safe and secure.

Business/corporate orders can be paid by bank transfer. Please contact us for terms and conditions.

 
How long will it take to receive my Muesli?
All our customized muesli orders are blended by hand as they received. We will do our best to mix, pack and dispatch all orders within 24 hours of receiving them – except on weekend days and public holidays. NZ Post will take 3 to 5 working days to deliver it to your doorstep.
 
Can I order from overseas?
For international orders, contact us with your address and the quantities you wish to order, and we will e-mail you back with the extra postage fees. You will be able to pay for these extra postage fees using Paypal too, on a separate invoice.
